Miami University alum Brian Sipotz is now a member of a championship team. Sipotz, a defenseman for the Chicago Wolves, is a 2004 graduate of Miami University. Chicago captured the Calder Cup winning the seven game series against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins 4-2.

At Miami, Sipotz played in 119 games from 2000-2004, and finished his career as a RedHawk with no goals and 5 assists.
